Lautrec inspired figure drawing session

ugggghhh, i have missed drawing with pencils. so i went to Bob Kato's Drawing Club in Glendale last Thursday and re-lived the frustrations of broken color pencil leads, kneading my eraser, getting graphite all over my finger tips, and my bottom becoming fairly sore from sitting on those wooden horses again.

and it felt awesome.

President Foras: gettin' there

first-and-almost-second pass on my take on President Foras. here's a description from Wikipedia about him:

"In demonology, Foras (alternatively Forcas or Forrasis) is a powerful President of Hell, being obeyed by twenty-nine legions of demons. He teaches logic and ethics in all their branches, the virtues of all herbs and precious stones, can make a man witty, eloquent, invisible (invincible according to some authors), and live long, and can discover treasures and recover lost things.
